"Zonder afspraak" (Without an Appointment) is a colorful comedy about the dreams we all cherish, the practical obstacles that stand in our way, and the sometimes surprising and far-reaching consequences when these two collide. Aziz, a 40-year-old man, runs the hair salon "Zonder afspraak" (Without an Appointment). However, deep down, he would much rather be a musician. One day, he decides to pursue his dream, partly aided by chance, an early midlife crisis, and an unwitting neighbor who gives him a little nudge in the right direction. But between dreams and actions, he faces challenges such as his wife, a rebellious daughter, a son with his own plans, a paralyzed father, a criminal brother-in-law, and a gang of extortionists. In short, it's the perfect arena for a sharp and fast-paced comedy full of misunderstandings, thwarted ambitions, broken hearts, fiery arguments, and painfully relatable confrontations.
